How it works

1. Activate Arbor Elf by tapping it, untapping the enchanted forest.
2. Activate the ability granted to the Forest by Sheltered Aerie, adding .
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Arbor Elf.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite blue mana, you may tap the Forest for other colors instead of blue, adding infinite colored mana.

This classic mana-generation engine relies on Sheltered Aerie to supercharge a basic land, turning it into a powerhouse that taps for two mana of any color instead of just one. With Sheltered Aerie enchanting that Forest, Arbor Elf is able to untap it each time it's tapped. By wrapping Freed from the Real around Arbor Elf, you gain a cheap way to untap the Elf using a single blue mana from the doubled Forest pool. This creates a self-sustaining loop where you generate surplus mana with every iteration, easily yielding infinite colored mana for whatever devastating spells you need to cast next.
