How it works

  1. Activate Soulbright Flamekin by paying 2, targeting Agrus Kos.
  2. Agrus Kos triggers, causing you to pay 1R/W to copy Soulbright Flamekin's ability, targeting every other creature you control.
  3. Resolve all Soulbright Flamekin abilities, adding eight R mana and giving creatures you control trample until end of turn.
  4. Activate Jaxis by paying R mana, tapping it and discarding a card, targeting Agrus Kos.
  5. Agrus Kos triggers, causing you to pay 1R/W to copy Jaxis' ability, targeting every other creature you control.
  6. Resolve all Jaxis abilities, creating a token that's a copy of each other creature you control with haste.
  7. Put the token Agrus Kos into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
  8. The Agrus Kos and Village Bell-Ringer tokens trigger.
  9. Resolve the Agrus Kos trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  10. Resolve the Village Bell-Ringer trigger, untapping all creatures you control.
  11. Repeat, using the Soulbright Flamekin token instead.

This brilliant engine comes together by leveraging the unique targeting replication of Agrus Kos, Eternal Soldier to supercharge activated abilities across your entire board. By pointing Soulbright Flamekin's ability at Agrus Kos, you can pay its cost to copy the trample-granting effect onto every other creature you control, easily hitting the threshold to generate a massive surplus of red mana. From there, Jaxis, the Troublemaker steps in to copy Agrus Kos over and over again, fueling an endless loop of tokens. Whenever a Village Bell-Ringer token enters the battlefield, it untaps all your creatures so you can keep repeating the process, turning every triggered death and enter-the-battlefield effect into a limitless cascade of value.
