How it works

1. Activate Atla by paying 2 and tapping it, creating an 0/1 Egg creature token with defender.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping a nontoken creature you control, creating a copy of the Egg token.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Egg token.
4. When the Egg dies, Atla triggers, causing you to reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card and put it onto the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This engine uses Atla Palani, Nest Tender to populate your board with fragile 0/1 Egg tokens, which are immediately sacrificed to Ashnod's Altar to generate the colorless mana needed to fuel the loop and trigger Atla's death ability. That death trigger is the true heart of the combo, letting you dig through your library to drop every single creature card directly onto the battlefield. Meanwhile, Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds utilizes its granted ability to tap your other creatures and quickly duplicate those fresh Eggs. Samut, Tyrant Smasher ensures your key permanents hit the ground running with haste, allowing them to tap for Ghired's ability the very turn they arrive.
