How it works

1. Activate Krasis Incubation by paying and returning it to your hand, putting four +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
2. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability four times by removing four +1/+1 counters from it, adding .
3. Cast Krasis Incubation by paying due to Mana Matrix, attaching it to Crystalline Crawler.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Crystalline Crawler into a self-sustaining mana engine by exploiting cost-reduction and counter-doubling mechanics. While Crystalline Crawler acts as the battery by converting its own +1/+1 counters into any color of mana, Branching Evolution supercharges the process by doubling every counter placed upon it. To make the cycle profitable, Zirda, the Dawnwaker and Mana Matrix work in tandem to slash the activation cost of Krasis Incubation and its casting cost down to just {G}{U}. By bouncing Krasis Incubation back to your hand and recasting it over and over, you continuously harvest extra mana from Crystalline Crawler to fuel an infinite storm count.
