How it works

1. Activate Genku by paying 3, putting two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Branching Evolution.
2. Activate Cryptic Trilobite's first ability twice by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, adding CCCC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
3. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability twice by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, adding .
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite C, you may forego removing counters from Cryptic Trilobite.

This clever loop turns the stat-boosting trigger of Genku, Future Shaper into an engine by continuously cycling counters through Crystalline Crawler and Cryptic Trilobite. While Crystalline Crawler provides the colored mana needed to fuel Genku's activation, Cryptic Trilobite generates the necessary restricted mana, and Branching Evolution doubles every counter placed to ensure the loop grows rather than fizzles. Together, these pieces bypass the need for traditional resource generation, converting an activated ability into boundless +1/+1 counters and colorless mana.
