How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Gravecrawler.
2. When Gravecrawler dies, Bhaal triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Crystalline Crawler.
3. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
5. Cast Gravecrawler from your graveyard by paying .
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the endless hunger of Bartolomé del Presidio into a self-sustaining engine by feeding him Gravecrawler over and over again from the graveyard. Because you control a Zombie (Gravecrawler itself counts!), you can recast it endlessly using the black mana generated by Crystalline Crawler, which refunds its own counter by removing one for mana or swelling from Bhaal, Lord of Murder's death triggers. Meanwhile, Bhaal ensures that every single sacrifice further pumps your Crystalline Crawler, turning an infinite loop of death and rebirth into limitless counters, triggers, and storm count.
