How it works
- Activate Kenrith by paying , putting two +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
- Activate Crystalline Crawler by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
- Repeat.
This brilliant loop relies on Zirda, the Dawnwaker to dramatically slash Kenrith, the Returned King's green activation cost down to just a single green mana. When you activate Kenrith to add a +1/+1 counter to Crystalline Crawler, Doc Samson, Super Psychiatrist swoops in to double that counter placement, meaning you actually receive two counters for the price of one. Crystalline Crawler can then cash in one of those counters for mana to fuel Kenrith's next activation while retaining the profit, leaving you with an ever-growing stockpile of counters, infinite colored mana, and access to all of Kenrith's other activated abilities.
