How it works

1. Cast Dargo from the command zone by paying .
2. When Dargo enters the battlefield, Cathars' Crusade triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
3. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Dargo.
4. Choose to return Dargo from your graveyard to the command zone.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
6. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Dargo, the Shipwrecker into an endlessly recastable engine, fueled entirely by the mana and counters generated right back into your board. When Dargo enters the battlefield, Cathars' Crusade immediately buffs your entire team with +1/+1 counters, padding Crystalline Crawler's battery so it can easily feed mana into the loop. You then use Umbral Collar Zealot to cleanly sacrifice Dargo back to the command zone while getting a bit of extra card selection via surveil along the way. Because Dargo's cost reduction makes him dirt cheap to recast using the mana from Crystalline Crawler, you can repeat the process infinitely to storm off and grow your board beyond measure.
