How it works

  1. Cast Oathsworn Vampire from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
  2. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Oathsworn Vampire.
  3. When Oathsworn Vampire is sacrificed, Szarel triggers, putting a number of +1/+1 counters equal to Szarel's power on Crystalline Crawler.
  4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  5. Activate Crystalline Crawler by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding B mana.
  6. Repeat.
