How it works

1. Activate Resourceful Defense by paying 4, removing at least five +1/+1 counters from a creature you control and putting at least ten +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
2. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability five times by removing five +1/+1 counters, adding 4.
3. Activate Resourceful Defense by paying 4, removing five +1/+1 counters from Crystalline Crawler and putting ten +1/+1 counters on another creature you control.
4. Activate Resourceful Defense by paying 4, removing ten +1/+1 counters from that creature and putting twenty +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler.
5. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability ten times by removing ten +1/+1 counters, adding 8.
6. Repeat from step 3 any number of times.
7. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability any number of times.
