How it works

1. Activate Lulu by paying 3, causing you to proliferate and put a +1/+1 counter on Crystalline Crawler, Workhorse and Cryptic Trilobite.
2. Activate Crystalline Crawler and Workhorse by removing a +1/+1 counter from them, adding C.
3. Activate Cryptic Trilobite by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding CC that can only be spent to activate abilities.
4. Repeat.

This engine turns Lulu, Stern Guardian's mana-activated proliferate ability into a self-sustaining loop by leaning entirely on counter-based mana creatures. Crystalline Crawler and Workhorse each trade their starting +1/+1 counters for raw mana to help foot Lulu, Stern Guardian's continuous activation cost, while Cryptic Trilobite provides a net surplus of restricted mana specifically meant to fuel those ability activations. Every single iteration is caught in a perpetual motion of adding and multiplying counters, as Lulu, Stern Guardian's proliferation restores the exact +1/+1 counters that Crystalline Crawler, Workhorse, and Cryptic Trilobite just spent.
