How it works

1. Activate Bristly Bill by paying 3, doubling the number of +1/+1 counters on each creature you control.
2. Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability five times by removing five +1/+1 counters from it, adding 3.
3. Repeat.
4. If Crystalline Crawler has six or more +1/+1 counters on it to start the combo, this combo results in infinite colored mana.

This elegant loop turns Crystalline Crawler into a self-sustaining mana battery, fueled entirely by the math of Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. By spending the mana generated from removing counters via Crystalline Crawler's ability to activate Bristly Bill's counter-doubling effect, you outpace the cost and grow your board exponentially. Because Bristly Bill, Spine Sower also scales naturally with land drops throughout the game, it provides the initial threshold needed to kick off this infinite colored mana engine.
