How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Move to your next turn.
3. At the beginning of your upkeep, Extravagant Replication triggers, creating a token copy of Archaeomancer.
4. When the Archaeomancer token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Walk the Aeons from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop locks down the game by granting you infinite turns, entirely fueled by the engine of Extravagant Replication and the recursive power of Archaeomancer. When you cast Walk the Aeons to take an extra turn, it naturally lands in your graveyard, where Archaeomancer is primed to scoop it right back to your hand upon entering the battlefield. The true magic happens during your upkeep, when Extravagant Replication copies your Archaeomancer to repeat the retrieval process for free turn after turn. Because you never have to pay the buyback cost or worry about running out of resources, you can endlessly chain extra turns until victory is assured.
