How it works

1. Cast Storm Herd by paying 8, creating a number of 1/1 Pegasus creature tokens equal to your life total.
2. Cast Energy Arc by paying , targeting every creature you control.
3. Venerated Rotpriest triggers for each creature targeted by Energy Arc.
4. Resolve the first trigger, causing an opponent to get a poison counter.
5. Repeat step 4 until an opponent loses the game due to having ten poison counters, then repeat for each other opponent.

This clever synergy turns a massive token army into a surprise win condition by weaponizing a seemingly innocuous utility spell. After you cast Storm Herd to flood the board with a sky-high number of Pegasus tokens based on your life total, you follow up with Energy Arc. Because Energy Arc allows you to target any number of your creatures, it triggers Venerated Rotpriest’s ability once for *each* targeted creature you control. This rapid-fire cascade of triggers quickly piles up ten poison counters on your opponents, bypassing combat entirely to hand you the game across Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
