How it works

  1. Activate Basal Sliver by sacrificing it, adding B manaB mana.
  2. Activate Apprentice Necromancer by paying B mana, tapping and sacrificing it, targeting Basal Sliver.
  3. Ashnod triggers, copying Apprentice Necromancer's ability, targeting Apprentice Necromancer.
  4. Resolve both Apprentice Necromancer abilities, returning Apprentice Necromancer and Basal Sliver from your graveyard to the battlefield, and giving them haste until end of turn.
  5. Repeat.
