How it works

1. Activate Ruthless Knave's first ability by paying 2 and sacrificing it.
2. Ashnod the Uncaring triggers, copying Ruthless Knave's ability.
3. Resolve both Ruthless Knave abilities, creating four Treasure artifact tokens.
4. Activate the four Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 2.
5. Activate Apprentice Necromancer by paying , tapping and sacrificing it, targeting Ruthless Knave.
6. Ashnod the Uncaring triggers, copying Apprentice Necromancer's ability, targeting Apprentice Necromancer.
7. Resolve both Apprentice Necromancer abilities, returning Apprentice Necromancer and Ruthless Knave from your graveyard to the battlefield, and giving them haste until end of turn.
8. Repeat.

This delightfully morbid loop relies on Ashnod the Uncaring to double the mileage of your sacrifices. When you pay to activate Ruthless Knave, Ashnod copies the ability to generate extra Treasure tokens, providing plenty of resources to fund your operations. Meanwhile, Apprentice Necromancer brings back fallen allies with haste, and Ashnod makes sure the Necromancer's own sacrifice is copied to pull *itself* right back out of the graveyard alongside the Knave.
