How it works

1. Activate Salvaging Station by tapping it, returning The Last Ride from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. When The Last Ride enters, Kolodin triggers, causing The Last Ride to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
3. Activate Megatog by sacrificing The Last Ride.
4. When The Last Ride dies, Salvaging Station triggers, untapping Salvaging Station.
5. Resolve the Megatog ability.
6. Repeat.

This clever recursion engine relies on Salvaging Station as its beating heart, using its tap ability to continually fish the tiny-mana-value The Last Ride right back out of your graveyard. Thanks to Kolodin, Triumph Caster, that recurring Vehicle instantly animates into an artifact creature upon entry, making it prime fodder to feed directly into Megatog's sacrifice altar. Every time The Last Ride hits the graveyard, Salvaging Station untaps itself to reset the loop, letting you repeat the process endlessly to pump Megatog to astronomical proportions.
