How it works

1. Cast Trusty Boomerang by paying 1.
2. Kykar triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
3. When the Spirit enters, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Spirit you control.
4. Activate Trusty Boomerang's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to the Spirit token.
5. Activate the Spirit token by paying 1 and tapping it, tapping a creature a returning Trusty Boomerang from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This fascinating loop relies on bouncing and recasting Trusty Boomerang to continuously churn out flying tokens, utilizing Kykar, Wind's Fury to generate a 1/1 Spirit whenever the noncreature artifact spell is cast. Each time a Spirit token enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes amplifies your mana supply by adding colorless mana for every Spirit you control, which more than covers the costs to recast and re-equip the boomerang. Meanwhile, Temur Ascendancy grants your army haste, and although its card-drawing trigger requires a bit more muscle, the engine as a whole thrives on the endless cycle of casting and returning equipment to flood the board with tokens and mana.
