How it works

1. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Niko.
2. When Niko enters, it triggers, creating two Shard tokens.
3. Activate Niko and the Shards by tapping them, adding 3.
4. Repeat.

This crafty loop centers on Niko, Light of Hope as your engine and Emiel the Blessed as the blink machine that resets it over and over. Every time Niko enters the battlefield, it floods your board with Shard tokens, and thanks to A Realm Reborn turning all your other permanents into mana sources, those very Shards (and Niko itself) can be tapped to pay for Emiel's activation cost. Meanwhile, Temur Ascendancy hangs back to reward your endless creature recasts with haste and a torrential flow of card draw whenever a sufficiently powerful threat appears.
