How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing Archaeomancer, adding .
2. Repeat step 1 for each other nontoken creature you control.
3. Cast Rise of the Dark Realms by paying 7, returning all creature cards from all graveyards to the battlefield under your control.
4. When Archaeomancer enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rise of the Dark Realms to your hand from your graveyard.
5. Repeat.

This macabre loop relies on turning a massive graveyard-emptying spell into a self-sustaining engine. When you cast Rise of the Dark Realms, you flood the battlefield with every creature lying in wait across all graveyards. Amid that resurrected horde, Archaeomancer plays a crucial role by its very presence, immediately triggering upon entry to haul Rise of the Dark Realms right back to your hand. Meanwhile, Phyrexian Altar stands ready to harvest your army for spare parts, letting you sacrifice the Archaeomancer (and any other disposable ghouls you brought along) to fuel the exact mana needed to cast the sorcery all over again.
