How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing any other creature.
2. When the creature dies, Sadisitc Glee triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a 4/4 Beast creature token.
4. Resolve the Shilgengar ability
5. Repeat.

This clever loop feeds on itself by turning the death of your own creatures into a self-sustaining engine of growth. You use Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to sacrifice a creature, which instantly triggers Sadistic Glee to place a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth. That single counter then fulfills Herd Baloth's condition to spawn a fresh 4/4 green Beast token, which promptly stands ready to be sacrificed back to Shilgengar for more Blood tokens.
