How it works

1. Activate Ghave's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Saproling, adding 1.
3. When the Saproling dies, Sadistic Glee triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the creature it is attached to.
4. Repeat.

By placing Sadistic Glee onto Ghave, Guru of Spores, you establish a permanent feedback loop where every sacrifice directly feeds the board state; you use one of Ghave's own +1/+1 counters to spawn a Saproling token, which is then fed directly into Phyrexian Altar.
