How it works

1. Cast Absorb Identity by paying 1, returning Mirror-Mad Phantasm to your hand from the battlefield, and causing each Shapeshifter you control to become a copy of Mirror-Mad Phantasm until end of turn.
2. Activate a Shapeshifter by paying 1, shuffling it into your library and milling your entire library due to it not having a card named Mirror-Mad Phantasm in it.

This clever self-mill engine starts by casting Absorb Identity to bounce Mirror-Mad Phantasm back to your hand while turning your other Shapeshifters into exact copies of the Phantasm. Because these temporary Shapeshifter copies lack the actual name "Mirror-Mad Phantasm" in their printing, activating their ability for {1}{U} causes the game to search your entire library in a futile quest to find a matching name. The end result is that your whole library is dumped straight into your graveyard, setting up massive graveyard synergies just waiting to be exploited.
