How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Archangel of Thune triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop centers on the synergy between Kitchen Finks and Archangel of Thune, where every time the Finks enters the battlefield, the life you gain triggers the Archangel to blanket your team in +1/+1 counters. Those counters immediately cancel out the -1/-1 counter left behind by the Finks's persist ability, resetting its state so it can be sacrificed once more to Phyrexian Altar. Because the Altar provides a steady stream of mana while fueling the sacrifice loop, you can repeat this cycle indefinitely to pump your entire board to staggering proportions while generating infinite mana, life, and death triggers.
