How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Archangel of Thune triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop uses Shilgengar, Sire of Famine as a sacrifice outlet to feed Kitchen Finks into its own persist ability, which normally would exhaust itself once a -1/-1 counter is placed. However, every time Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers a 2 life gain that awakens Archangel of Thune's static ability to shower +1/+1 counters across your board. That influx of +1/+1 counters immediately neutralizes the -1/-1 counter on Kitchen Finks through state-based actions, resetting its persist eligibility so Shilgengar can sacrifice it over and over again while generating an endless tide of Blood tokens.
