How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Archangel of Thune triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
5. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop creates a perpetual engine by exploiting how counters interact with one another: whenever Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, its persist ability and its natural lifegain trigger Archangel of Thune, which pumps every creature you control with +1/+1 counters. Because Archangel of Thune's buff places a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks as it returns with a -1/-1 counter, state-based actions cause both counters to annihilate each other, resetting the persist condition entirely. Umbral Collar Zealot provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to send Kitchen Finks back to the graveyard to restart the cycle, letting you infinitely surveil your library while generating infinite life, death triggers, and counters across your board.
