How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks.
5. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
6. Repeat.

This elegant engine turns a simple meal into an immortal loop by using Bartolomé del Presidio to repeatedly sacrifice Kitchen Finks, triggering its persist ability to bring it back to the battlefield. Because Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter, it would normally fizzle out after one repetition, but Spider-Man, Peter Parker elegantly circumvents this limitation by granting a +1/+1 counter whenever you gain life from the entering Finks. These two opposing counters neutralize each other through state-based actions, resetting the persist eligibility entirely and allowing you to feed Bartolomé del Presidio endlessly while generating infinite life, death triggers, and counters.
