How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
4. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks.
5. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop transforms Kitchen Finks into an unkillable engine of destruction by turning its natural lifegain into a counter-canceling mechanic. Each time Goblin Bombardment sacrifices Kitchen Finks, its persist ability normally brings it back with a -1/-1 counter, but Spider-Man, Peter Parker counters this drawback by placing a +1/+1 counter on it in response to the ensuing lifegain. Because +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters annihilate each other as a state-based action, Kitchen Finks is left completely free of counters and ready to be sacrificed all over again for endless damage.
