How it works
Cast Mana Geyser by paying 3.
Extus triggers, returning Ardent Elementalist from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve Mana Geyser, adding for each tapped land your opponents control.
Cast Ardent Elementalist by paying its mana cost.
When Ardent Elementalist enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Mana Geyser from your graveyard to your hand.
Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Ardent Elementalist
Repeat.
This loop is fueled by Mana Geyser, which generates a massive windfall of red mana by counting your opponents' tapped lands. To keep the spell flowing, Ardent Elementalist continuously recurs Mana Geyser from your graveyard whenever it enters the battlefield, thanks to its own on-entry trigger. Meanwhile, Phantom Train acts as the sac outlet, letting you feed away the Elementalist to animate itself and pump up its own power with +1/+1 counters. Extus, Oriq Overlord ties the whole machine together through its magecraft ability: casting your spells triggers Extus to fish Ardent Elementalist right back out of the graveyard, setting the stage to replay it and keep the chain spinning indefinitely.
