How it works

1. Cast Mana Geyser by paying 3, adding for each tapped land your opponents control.
2. Cast Devastating Onslaught by paying 4, creating two token copies of Izzet Chronarch with haste.
3. When the Izzet Chronarch tokens enter, they trigger, returning Mana Geyser and Devastating Onslaught from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on a critical mass of opponents' tapped lands to fuel a self-sustaining engine of arcane replication. You kick things off by casting Mana Geyser to harvest a massive windfall of red mana, which you then channel into Devastating Onslaught to conjure two fresh token copies of Izzet Chronarch. As these chronological spell-weavers materialize, their enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger simultaneously, allowing you to scoop both the Mana Geyser and the Devastating Onslaught right back out of your graveyard and back into your hand. Because Devastating Onslaught generates enough extra bodies to loop the process while leaving you ahead on red mana—provided your foes control enough tapped lands—you can repeat the entire sequence indefinitely to generate boundless power, infinite spell casts, and an endless army of hasty chrono-mages.
