How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 1, blinking Corsair Captain.
2. When Corsair Captain enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Agatha of the Vile Cauldron to act as a cost reducer, bringing Emiel the Blessed's blink activation down so that it only costs a single mana. When you target Corsair Captain with Emiel's ability, the Pirate blinks out and back in, immediately triggering its enter-the-battlefield ability to forge a fresh Treasure token. Sacrificing that very same Treasure then yields the exact mana needed to pay for Emiel the Blessed's discounted ability all over again, generating an endless cycle of leaves-the-battlefield and enters-the-battlefield triggers.
