How it works

1. Activate Thundering Spineback by paying due to Agatha of the Vile Cauldron, creating a 3/3 Dinosaur creature token.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Dinosaur, adding .

This ingenious loop leverages Agatha of the Vile Cauldron to drastically slash the activation cost of Thundering Spineback's token-making ability down to just a single green mana. Once that engine is humming, you simply feed the newly hatched token directly into Phyrexian Altar, sacrificing it to recoup the exact green mana needed to start the whole cycle over again. Because Thundering Spineback is itself a Dinosaur, it completes the ecosystem by turning every iteration into a self-sustaining loop of endless sacrifices, creature entries, and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
