How it works

1. Activate a basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
2. Activate Earthcraft by tapping Farmstead Gleaner, untapping the basic land.
3. Activate Farmstead Gleaner by paying 1 due to Agatha of the Vile Cauldron and untapping it, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms simple untap mechanics into infinite growth by using Earthcraft to turn Farmstead Gleaner's own taps into a way to untap your lands for mana. Normally, Farmstead Gleaner's ability costs two mana to activate, but the passive mana reduction from Agatha of the Vile Cauldron drops that cost down to just one mana. Because Farmstead Gleaner's ability also untaps it as part of the cost, you can endlessly pay that single mana, untap the Gleaner, and grow its power with a +1/+1 counter on each iteration.
