How it works

1. Activate a basic Mountain by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft by tapping Hateflayer, untapping the basic Mountain.
3. Activate Hateflayer by paying due to Agatha of the Vile Cauldron and untapping it, dealing damage equal to its power to any target.
4. Repeat.

By reducing ability costs based on her power, Agatha of the Vile Cauldron turns Hateflayer's heavy activation fee into a single red mana. Earthcraft steps in to bridge the gap by letting Hateflayer's untap symbol pay for itself, utilizing a basic Mountain as a mana source that gets continually refreshed. The result is a seamless loop where Hateflayer repeatedly deals lethal damage and piles on wither counters without ever needing to rest.
