How it works

1. Activate Tezzeret's second ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, causing Basalt Monolith to become an artifact creature.
2. Activate Basalt Monolith's first ability by tapping it, adding CCC.
3. Activate Basalt Monolith's last ability by paying at most 2, untapping it.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This cunning loop transforms Basalt Monolith into an animate creature using Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh, allowing Agatha of the Vile Cauldron to drastically lower the cost of its untap ability while Tezzeret's passive cost-reduction handles the rest. By tapping the Monolith for three colorless mana and paying just one or two mana to untap it thanks to our cost-reducers, you generate infinite colorless mana on the spot.
