How it works

1. Activate Wren's Run Packmaster by paying due to Agatha of the Vile Cauldron, creating a 2/2 Wolf creature token.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Wolf, adding .
3. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Agatha of the Vile Cauldron to drastically slash the activation cost of Wren's Run Packmaster’s ability, turning what is normally a hefty investment into a cheap way to churn out tokens. Once the packmaster's ability is discounted, you can sacrifice the newly spawned Wolf to Phyrexian Altar to generate the green mana needed to keep the cycle going indefinitely. Because Agatha of the Vile Cauldron can't reduce mana costs below one, the altar's mana production perfectly covers the discounted {G} activation cost.
