How it works
Activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least 5.
Activate Magus of the Candelabra by tapping it and paying 1 due to Agatha of the Vile Cauldron, untapping the five lands.
Activate Sword of the Paruns by paying 3, untapping Magus of the Candelabra.
Repeat.
Once you have infinite mana, if you have infinite and , you may use it to activate Agatha of the Vile Cauldron's ability.
This clever engine turns Magus of the Candelabra into an aggressive mana-positive battery by leveraging Agatha of the Vile Cauldron, whose static ability reduces the Magus's costly activation down to just a single generic mana. With that activation cost heavily discounted, tapping lands to generate five mana easily covers the {1} needed to untap them and leave a net profit. Meanwhile, Sword of the Paruns steps in as the mechanical bridge, using its ability to untap the Magus so the loop can start fresh, while its passive buffs quietly reward your swinging states as the board state grows. Once you've generated infinite mana, you can pump the same accumulated resources right back into Agatha of the Vile Cauldron's second ability to give your entire team massive trampling stats for the win.
