How it works

1. Activate Sarcatog by sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces's second abilities trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Sakashima of a Thousand Faces.
4. Sakashima of a Thousand Faces's first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
5. Resolve the Sakashima of a Thousand Faces trigger from step 2, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
6. Lonis' first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
7. Resolve the Sarcatog ability.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on cloning Lonis, Genetics Expert with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to create a self-sustaining engine of counters and Clues, bypassing the legend rule entirely. Once you sacrifice a Clue to fuel Sarcatog's sacrifice ability, the two copies of Lonis trigger each other back and forth by placing +1/+1 counters on one another. Each of those counter placements spawns a brand new Clue token, which in turn feeds right back into Sarcatog to keep the entire cycle going indefinitely.
