How it works

1. Activate Sarcatog's second ability by sacrificing a Clue.
2. Lonis' second ability and Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger.
3. Resolve the Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on any other creature you control.
4. Resolve the Tarrian's Soulcleaver trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lonis.
5. Lonis' first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
6. Resolve the Sarcatog ability from step 1, giving it +1/+1 until end of turn.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop begins by using Sarcatog to sacrifice a Clue, sending the artifact to the graveyard to pump its power and toughness. That sacrifice immediately triggers Tarrian's Soulcleaver to place a +1/+1 counter on Lonis, Genetics Expert, which in turn causes Lonis to investigate and generate a fresh Clue. Meanwhile, Lonis's third ability lets you funnel the counters earned from that new Clue back into growing Sarcatog or whatever else you need, fueling an endless cycle of sacrifice, artifact triggers, and scaling power.
