How it works

1. Activate Argothian Elder by tapping it, untapping Griffin Canyon and another land.
2. Activate Griffin Canyon's second ability by tapping it, untapping Argothian Elder and giving it +1/+1 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on Conspiracy to bridge a subtle creature-type gap by redefining Argothian Elder's nature, allowing it to be legally targeted by Griffin Canyon's untap ability. Once Conspiracy makes the Elder a Griffin, tapping Argothian Elder untaps both Griffin Canyon and a land, while tapping Griffin Canyon in turn untaps the Elder and grants it a permanent stat boost until end of turn. Because each piece refreshes the other in a closed loop, you can continuously tap and untap both permanents to generate infinite land-tapped mana and an infinitely large creature.
