How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Cast Izzet Chronarch by paying its mana cost.
3. When Izzet Chronarch enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Move to your next turn.
5. Activate Dour Port-Mage by paying 1 and tapping it, returning Izzet Chronarch from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Dour Port-Mage triggers, causing you to draw a card.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the recursion of Izzet Chronarch and the extra turns from Capture of Jingzhou into an unbreakable cycle of time. Each time the Chronarch enters, it brings back your extra turn spell from the graveyard, while the activated ability of Dour Port-Mage lets you bounce the Chronarch right back to your hand. Best of all, Dour Port-Mage's passive triggered ability rewards you for the bounce by letting you draw a card every single iteration, burying your opponents in both endless turns and endless cardboard.
