How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Dust Bowl by paying 3, tapping it and sacrificing Mystic Sanctuary, destroying a nonbasic land.
3. Play Mystic Sanctuary from your graveyard.
4. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Move to your next turn, drawing Capture of Jingzhou during your draw step.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop locks down your opponents by granting you near-infinite turns, fueled by Capture of Jingzhou to continually seize extra turns. The engine relies on Mystic Sanctuary entering the battlefield untapped to trigger its ability, placing the sorcery right back on top of your library where you can draw it again. To make this repeatable, Ramunap Excavator steps in by letting you play lands directly from your graveyard, while Dust Bowl provides the crucial outlet to sacrifice Mystic Sanctuary over and over again.
