How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Dust Bowl by paying 3, tapping it and sacrificing Mystic Sanctuary, destroying a nonbasic land.
3. Play Mystic Sanctuary from your graveyard.
4. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Move to your next turn, drawing Capture of Jingzhou during your draw step.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop lets you take near-infinite turns by continually recycling your spells from the graveyard. It all hinges on Ancient Greenwarden, whose static ability allows you to play lands right out of your graveyard while also doubling the landfall triggers of your permanents. Thanks to that doubling effect, playing Mystic Sanctuary when it enters the battlefield lets you trigger its ability twice, though just once is enough to place Capture of Jingzhou right back on top of your library to be drawn next turn. Meanwhile, Dust Bowl plays the crucial role of sacrifice outlet, letting you clear away Mystic Sanctuary for a few mana so you can replay it repeatedly and sustain the engine.
