How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Dust Bowl by paying 3, tapping it and sacrificing Mystic Sanctuary, destroying a nonbasic land.
3. Play Mystic Sanctuary from your graveyard.
4. When Mystic Sanctuary enters untapped, it triggers, putting Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Move to your next turn, drawing Capture of Jingzhou during your draw step.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop achieves a near-infinite turn lock by recycling a single extra-turn spell over and over again. By leveraging Szarel, Genesis Shepherd, you gain the ability to play lands directly out of your graveyard, allowing you to feed Dust Bowl's sacrifice ability with Mystic Sanctuary. Every time Mystic Sanctuary enters the battlefield untapped, its triggered ability places Capture of Jingzhou right back on top of your library to be drawn on your next turn, ensuring the loop never ends.
