How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability triggers, causing you to cast a copy of it from exile.
3. Resolve the copy, creating a token copy of Timeless Witness
4. When the Timeless Witness token enters, it triggers, returning Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop secures infinite turns by chaining extra turns with recursive creature generation, legal in formats like commander, legacy, oathbreaker, and vintage. By casting Capture of Jingzhou, you earn an extra turn, setting the stage for Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability to automatically cast a free copy of itself from exile during your subsequent precombat main phases. That copied spell creates a token copy of Timeless Witness, whose enters-the-battlefield trigger immediately plucks Capture of Jingzhou right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because eternalize isn't used here (relying instead on the Symposium's token-copy effect), this self-sustaining sequence lets you replay Capture of Jingzhou turn after turn to lock down the game completely.
