How it works

  1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3U manaU mana.
  2. Double Vision triggers, copying Temporal Manipulation.
  3. Holding priority, cast Venser by paying 2U manaU mana.
  4. When Venser enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, returning itself and the original Temporal Manipulation to your hand from the battlefield and stack respectively.
  5. Resolve the copy of Temporal Manipulation, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  6. Repeat each turn.

This looping engine achieves infinite turns by turning a single extra-turn spell into a permanent time-warp lock. It starts when Double Vision automatically doubles your first cast of Temporal Manipulation each turn, giving you both a copy to resolve and a vital window of priority. Before that copy resolves, you flash in Venser, Shaper Savant, whose entry triggers are doubled thanks to Naban, Dean of Iteration amplifying your Wizards. Those two triggers let Venser bounce both himself back to your hand and the original, un-copied Temporal Manipulation right off the stack, preserving your resource for the next cycle.
