How it works

1. Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying 3, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Cast Viashino Sandscout by paying 1.
3. Cast Lore Drakkis for its mutate cost by paying U/RU/R, putting it under Viashino Sandscout.
4. Lore Drakkis triggers, returning Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard to your hand.
5. At the beginning of your end step, Viashino Sandscout triggers, returning itself and Lore Drakkis from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat each turn.

This elegant loop lets you take infinite turns by combining recursion and self-bouncing creatures to continuously replay your extra-turn spell. You begin by casting Temporal Manipulation to buy yourself an extra turn, setting the stage for your engine. Next, you deploy Viashino Sandscout to the battlefield, immediately setting up the return mechanism inherent in its own text. Finally, you mutate Lore Drakkis over the top of the Sandscout; because Lore Drakkis triggers whenever it mutates, its ability rescues Temporal Manipulation right back from your graveyard. When your end step arrives, the natural trigger on Viashino Sandscout returns the entire mutated creature stack safely back to your hand, leaving you fully prepared to recast everything on your next infinite turn.
