How it works
- At the beginning of your combat phase, Ayara triggers, returning Combat Celebrant from your graveyard to the battlefield and giving it haste.
- Declare Combat Celebrant as an attacker, choosing to exert it as it attacks.
- Combat Celebrant triggers, untapping all other creatures you control and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Combat Celebrant, putting a +1/+1 counter on Bloodflow Connoisseur.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This clever recursion engine relies on Ayara, Widow of the Realm // Ayara, Furnace Queen to repeatedly pull Combat Celebrant out of your graveyard at the start of combat, granting it haste just in time to attack and exert for an extra combat phase. Because Combat Celebrant untaps all other creatures you control when exerted, you can use Bloodflow Connoisseur to sacrifice the Celebrant before the combat step ends, avoiding its restriction and binning it so Ayara can bring it right back on the next loop.
