How it works
Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Wingrattle Scarecrow
When Wingrattle Scarecrow dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
When Wingrattle Scarecrow enters, Serra Redeemer triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Wingrattle Scarecrow
Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
Repeat.
This clever loop turns Wingrattle Scarecrow into an infinite sacrifice engine by exploiting the interaction between its conditional persist ability and the +1/+1 counters provided by Serra Redeemer. When you sacrifice the Scarecrow to Bloodflow Connoisseur, persist brings it right back with a -1/-1 counter, but Serra Redeemer instantly counters this drawback by bestowing two +1/+1 counters upon its re-entry. Those opposing counters annihilate each other through state-based actions, leaving the Scarecrow pristine and ready to be fed back into the Connoisseur endlessly.
