How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Hound of Griselbrand
2. When Hound of Griselbrand dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Hound of Griselbrand
4. When Hound of Griselbrand dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. Resolve both Bartolomé del Presidio abilities from step 1 and 3.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant rebirth of Hound of Griselbrand, whose natural undying ability brings it back with a +1/+1 counter whenever it perishes. By feeding the Hound to Bartolomé del Presidio, you grow Bartolomé's power while triggering the creature's return. The real magic, however, happens once you leverage Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight; its backside grants persist to your other nontoken creatures, neatly canceling out the previous counter type and allowing the sacrifice cycle to loop infinitely for endless triggers and a massive Bartolomé del Presidio.
